Secure loan data connection through Open Banking.
Rate Monitor uses Secure Finance's Frollo Open Banking service to help review your home loan using real loan information — without asking you to upload paperwork or provide your banking password. Frollo is an accredited data recipient under Australia's government-regulated Consumer Data Right, and data is stored securely in Australia.
A regulated, consent-based way to share your own data.
Open Banking is part of Australia's Consumer Data Right (CDR) — a government framework that lets you securely share selected banking data with accredited providers. You choose what to share, you provide consent through the secure data-sharing process, and you can withdraw that consent at any time.
No passwords — ever
You verify yourself directly with your own bank. You are never asked to provide your online banking password to Secure Finance or Frollo.
Review only
Secure, consent-based CDR data sharing used to review your loan — it gives no ability to transact or make changes on your accounts.
You control consent
You choose which accounts to share and the sharing period, and you can revoke consent at any time from the consent dashboard. Data is deleted when your consent ends.
Secure Finance, Frollo and your bank — each with a clear role.
Secure Finance
The licensed mortgage broking business behind Rate Monitor (ACL 465059). Secure Finance reviews your loan information and assesses savings opportunities — through current-lender renegotiation or refinance — and only contacts you where a meaningful opportunity may exist.
Frollo
The accredited CDR/Open Banking technology provider supporting the data connection. Frollo operates the secure consent and data-sharing journey used by Secure Finance.
Your bank
You authenticate directly with your bank inside the CDR flow. Your bank confirms your identity and shares only the data you consent to share.
Open Banking is optional — always.
If you'd rather not connect your accounts, you can provide your loan details manually instead. Open Banking simply allows Secure Finance to review your loan more accurately, using real data rather than estimates.
Learn more about the Consumer Data Right at cdr.gov.au, and about how we handle shared data in our Open Banking & Data Use notice and Frollo's CDR Policy. The information on this page is general in nature and describes the standard CDR consent-based data sharing process.
Real data. Real review. Only worthwhile calls.
